Here at Air Experiences we’re all passionate about flying and pilots – so we know what we’re talking about. We hope to give more people an affordable way of giving the gift of flight, or just trying out this exciting sport for themselves.
All our staff fly several times a week when the weather lets us, and we love landing at different airfields and chatting with all our lovely suppliers.
Air Experiences was founded by Lee Ingram, a commercial pilot with over 25 years of flying and airfield management. After many years of seeing members of the public and flying schools being taken for a ride by voucher companies, Lee founded Air Experiences in 2013 with the main aim of offering affordable experiences and helping flying schools across the country.
Commercial Pilot
Lee is a commercial pilot, holding an Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence with over 5,000 flying hours under his belt.
Starting gliding at the tender age of 17, becoming a flying instructor by the age of 19, and going on to gain his Private and then Commercial Pilot’s Licence.
Flying is Lee’s biggest passion in life and there isn’t much he hasn’t flown.
Power & Glider Pilot
Nigel’s passion for flying started when he was 13 after joining the ATC “Air Cadets” and later a local Gliding club. Nobody forgets their first solo flight or their first extended glide sailing the sky! Nigel then went on to get a full Pilots license with endorsement for vintage “tail dragger” aircraft and glider towing.
With so many to chose from, one of Nigel’s most enjoyable flights was ferrying a motor-glider back from Austria which started by following the Blue Danube between the mountains. The trip taking a couple of days with stops in Germany and France.
Power & Glider Pilot
Ashleigh Duggan started her flying journey at the age of 16 when she started learning to glide.
Having grown up in an aviation background, with her father working for the Red Arrows, Ashleigh had caught the flying bug very early in life and now has the ambition to fly commercially and fly her mum abroad.
One of Ashleigh’s most favourable air experience was ferrying a motor glider back from Germany over 3 days!
