This is the perfect ‘taster’ flying lesson, giving you enough time to see how the plane works. During our Nationwide Light Aircraft Experience For One, you can admire the views and get a photograph of yourself at the controls of an aeroplane. If you’re not too sure whether you will like flying, or just want to say you have been flying, then this is the one for you.
Your fully qualified instructor will explain everything before you get into the aircraft, introducing you to the controls and explaining what they do. You will be flying in a two-seater aircraft sitting alongside your instructor. Once airborne, your instructor will demonstrate how to control the aircraft and then you will have the opportunity to have a go yourself. Don’t worry – you can do as much or as little hands-on flying as you wish.

If you enjoyed your flight and want to progress your flying further, all our clubs offer fantastic prices if you wish to continue learning to fly. Your flight will count towards the hours needed to gain a Private Pilot’s Licence.
